A Carpathian guest house: a site that names the price before the call
A website for a private guest house with eight rooms. The gallery is not the main thing here, the calculator is: the guest picks dates, a room and extras, and sees the total with the season taken into account, plus the size of the deposit. After that all that is left is to press “send request”, instead of writing a DM and waiting for an answer.
A site that answers
the main question by itself.
Guest houses are usually sold with photographs. We started from something else: people want to know the price for their own dates, and they do not want to message anyone to find it out.
- Booking calculatorDates, room, number of guests. On top of that come the hot tub, the sauna, dinner and a transfer. At the bottom, the total, a 30% deposit and the rest, which is paid on the spot.
- Prices by seasonA night in February and a night in November do not cost the same. The site knows where the seasons begin and end, so nobody has to look for them in the notes.
- Four room typesPhotos, how many it sleeps, what is inside, the price per night. The same list the calculator then picks from.
- What is nearbySix places with the distance to each: Yaremche, Bukovel, the Dovbush Rocks, Hoverla, Makovytsia, the Prut. This is what people ask about before they come.
- Rules with no fine printCheck-in and check-out, the deposit, cancellation, children, animals, quiet hours. Written so that there are no surprises on arrival.
- Two languagesThe whole text is translated into English. The switch sits in the footer, and the choice is remembered until next time.

First screen
Dates and price at the top, and under them a strip of photos from the house that you drag sideways. First you see where you are going, and right there you can check whether it is free.
The calculator
Dates and room on the left, the extras in the middle, the total on the right. The clip shows it counting: first the dates, then the room, then the hot tub and dinner — and the nights, the total and the deposit come out different every time. At the bottom it says this is a request, not a payment.
On a phone
People look for a place to stay mostly from a phone, often in the evening. On a narrow screen the calculator becomes a single column, the total stays in sight, and the phone number to call is in the header.
The money does not come from the gallery,
it comes from the price being visible before the call.
The price is named before the conversation
A guest sees the total for their own dates, deposit included. Anyone who finds it expensive does not write at all, and whoever does write is already ready to put money down.
Requests come in at night
People look for a place to stay in the evening after work and on weekends. Before, messages like that sat in the DMs until Monday, and some of those people found somewhere else in the meantime.
The season takes care of itself
The regular and the high season have different prices. The owner does not rewrite the price list and does not explain the difference in messages — the calculator does that.
In the first season after launch there were 25–35% more bookings.
