Made-to-measure furniture: a calculator that draws your kitchen
A website for a workshop that builds kitchens, wardrobes and walk-in closets to size. The main thing on it is the calculator: you drag the length slider, choose the material of the fronts, and next to it the plan redraws itself with the dimensions while a rough price per running meter is added up.
The center of the site is not a gallery
but a calculation.
Made-to-measure furniture is hard to sell with pictures: everyone has their own wall and their own dimensions.

First screen
The drafting style here is not for looks. The workshop sells accuracy to the customer's own dimensions, and the whole first screen is laid out like a drawing sheet: the photo inside dimension lines, and under it a title block with the material, the lead time, the guarantee and the price.
The calculator
The choices on the left, the plan with dimensions and the total on the right. In the clip a wardrobe is picked instead of a kitchen — the drawing becomes a different one, then the size slider is dragged, and both the dimension line and the price follow the hand. Recorded from the live site.
On a phone
From a phone the calculator works the same way: the slider is sized for a thumb, the plan sits under it, and the price does not slide off the screen.

A drawing instead of words
Next to the calculator a drawing with the dimensions redraws itself. That takes away half of the questions that usually only come up at the measure-up.
